Works by Antonis Mor (Anthonis Mor van Dashorst, c. 1517-1576), in the public domain, each linked to its record in the museum that holds it. Trained in Utrecht with Jan van Scorel and settled in Antwerp from 1547, he was one of the great portraitists of the Europe of Charles V and Philip II: figures almost always shown half-length or full-length against a dark ground, where the gaze, the hands, the gloves, the jewels and the fabrics are painted with the same precision. Only works that the museums give to Mor without reservation (not "workshop of", "attributed to" or copies), and of which a freely reusable photograph exists, are included: the photographs come from Wikimedia Commons, where these faithful reproductions of public-domain works are marked as public domain. The titles are those of the museums, with their translation.
